Procedures and policies for Mission Agape (MA)
Procedures:
Enrollment:
Child(ren) must be enrolled by their legal guardian.
Child(ren) must be at least 4 years old and up to sixth grade.
Communication:
We need to be able to reach you while your child is with us!
Sign up for announcements by texting @missionag to 81010.
Watch for notes sent home with dates for activities that are not on Wednesday.
If your contact information changes, please update it ASAP by calling 731-632-3787.

Program:
Program will be on Wednesdays from 5-7:00 pm
Children will be assigned an age-appropriate class with at least 2 adults supervising.
Meal is at 5:00 and is $1 for 6th grade and younger, $3 for older.
Classes begin at 5:30 and include music/worship, Bible study, and recreation.
Dismissal is at 7:00 and children should be picked up by 7:11 at the fellowship hall door.
Attendance:
Children will sign in upon arriving at AFBC premises, enter at the fellowship hall glass doors.
Family and friends are always welcome to come and stay (we have an adult study) and are especially encouraged to participate in family nights to see their children’s program.
Parents may attend their child’s class, but may only instruct or correct their own child(ren). Parents may apply to be an official volunteer in Mission Agape.
Non-enrolled students may attend as a guest for a maximum of 2 weeks, then they should enroll.
Behavior/Discipline:
Any student misbehaving in a disruptive and/or disrespectful way may receive removal from class, a conference with the director, a call home, or be sent home.
Disruptive behavior includes physical disruptions, as well as verbal disruptions, disrespect, and defiance, not staying with the group, or leaving without permission.
Extreme or dangerous behavior, whether to self or others will be dealt with immediately and on a case by case basis. Weapons, explosives (including fireworks), illegal substances, etc. will not be tolerated on campus and legal action may be taken if found.

Consequences (3 strikes per night):
1st is warning
2nd is warning
3rd is removal from class or sitting out of gym that night (or if at the end, next time)

Natural Consequences:
As needed for non-strikes
Example, for breaking line, go to the back of the line
Example, for running, go back and walk
If they continue after natural consequences, a strike will be used
