About Us

Adamsville First Baptist Church was organized on September 3, 1882. We have been involved in missions throughout our history. Shortly after our organization, we released about 17 members to plant another church. Then, in the 1960s, we were actively involved in planting First Baptist Church in Crump, TN. Currently, we are partnering with a church planter in southern California and a missionary in Guatemala. Many of our church members are actively involved in organizations throughout our community. We live to build fully engaged disciples of Jesus Christ who know Him and make Him known!

We cooperate with the Shiloh Baptist Association, Tennessee Baptist Convention, and the Southern Baptist Convention in carrying out the Great Commission.
